If you have eggs leftover from Easter- take a Sharpie marker and put alphabet letters on each one. You can easily grade the activity up or down depending on ability levels! Here, I've used them to match upper and lower case letters. You could also use the halves to build words with them sitting open side down on the table, you could put sight words on them, or you could even put numbers and practice putting them in order, adding or subtracting! SO many possibilities! Plus it keeps the eggs from being thrown away!

Hi everyone!! I just invited a few more people to ‘like’ my page…. If you have kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, neighbors with kids, work with kids, teacher friends, or basically ever talk to any parents or teachers who are frustrated trying to help kids get the best they deserve, this page is for you!!

A little history and forward thinking…. I’m an occupational therapist with over 20 years experience, over half in school based therapy. I have a full time job as an OT and clinical director that I LOVE!!! I’m not looking to replace my full time job, but I decided to put focus on all the little things that friends, family, former co-workers, friends of friends always ask…. “How can I help at home?” My first goal is discussed on another post here- basically I am taking a course that is walking me through building a course and I’m designing it for parents to give them quick and easy strategies to help handwriting legibility- without having to learn a whole new curriculum or spend tons of money! It will include the option for 1:1 support/consult for the parents and a parent community as well!
Once I’ve accomplished that, I plan to launch a similar course geared towards teachers! So many kids don’t qualify for special education support but you want to help them in your classroom- and you want to actually read the work they turn in. How?! Stay tuned!!

Alright friends! As I posted the other day, I’m putting together a course for parents regarding handwriting! I’ve heard SO MANY parents reaching out for help and guidance with the virtual learning over the last couple years really highlighting the learning gaps across many subjects, but I’ve been contacted frequently about handwriting. My goal is to put together simple, practical ideas and strategies on integrating these into your daily life- not adding complex curriculums, lengthy practice times or hard to understand protocols.

This is really hard to think about. Even though school has been fairly ‘normal’ this school year there is still so much impacting kids, so even though they are in school it isn’t truly normal.
We need to understand their challenges, meet them where they are at, and build skills from there while also keeping in mind that they might not ‘act their age’ because life has literally been turned upside down for 3 school years!! ❤️

Hi everyone! You may notice the name change! As you all know, I’m an occupational therapist. Last summer I did some handwriting tutoring with kiddos in our community and loved it. Now I’m shifting my focus to more OT based products so I’m re-branding this page!
This year I am working on developing an online course for parents to support their efforts in helping our kiddos achieve functional and legible handwriting! I am in the development stage currently and I need to have a few brief zoom meetings with parents to help me determine what is most needed and wanted by parents! In this zoom I will offer some strategies and ideas to help you (for free!) and in return I need your input on my course ideas, what would benefit parents like you the most, what challenges you've faced in navigating getting help for your child, and your opinion on course pricing.
