Smart Walk Study ASU

Smart Walk Study ASU Smart Walk is a research study conducted by ASU. The purpose is to increase physical activity and improve the health of Black women living in the Phoenix area.

Participants receive a smartphone-delivered physical activity program for 12-months. Smart Walk is a research study conducted by Arizona State University and is funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NIH/NHLBI). The purpose is to increase physical activity and improve the health of Black women in the Phoenix area. The study aims to evaluate the effects of two different smartphone-delivered physical activity promotion programs for African American women. Participation is voluntary. Study activities will be held at the Downtown Phoenix campus and participants will receive up to $150 for study participation.
