Resident Sherry found her sense of belonging at Beatitudes Campus, and you can too!
When she moved here over four years ago, she never expected a community so full of activity and engagement. Sherry describes Beatitudes Campus as a “bubble of safety”, but in all the best ways! You never have to leave campus: there’s plenty of dining options, a thrift shop, endless activities and onsite support for daily needs.
Inclusivity and a spirit of belonging shine across residents and team members. Everyone can find their place here, regardless of their race, religion or walk of life. Sherry especially enjoys participating in the community’s Passover Seder and shared that the campus dedicates a week in the Life Center for those who wish to celebrate Holy Week before Easter, just one of many ways the community honors all faiths.
Her tips for spreading kindness and belonging are simple: be brave and be ready to mingle. She’s formed incredible friendships in the community, a testament to how simple conversations can turn into precious friendships.
Everyone here is important and plays a special role in making Beatitudes Campus all that it is. Share with us in the comments how you’ve found your belonging here on campus.
