👀 Seeing Floaters or Flashes? Here’s What It Means! ⚡
Have you ever noticed tiny specks, cobwebs, or flashes of light in your vision? These could be eye floaters and flashes, and while they’re common, they can sometimes signal a serious issue.
🔍 What Are Floaters?
Floaters are tiny clumps of gel or cells inside your eye’s vitreous (the clear gel filling your eye). They move when you try to look at them and are more noticeable against bright backgrounds.
⚡ What About Flashes?
Flashes look like streaks of light or lightning bolts in your vision. They happen when the vitreous pulls on your retina.
🚨 When to See an Eye Doctor ASAP:
❌ A sudden increase in floaters
❌ Flashes of light that don’t go away
❌ A dark curtain or shadow in your vision
❌ Any sudden vision changes
These could be signs of a retinal tear or detachment, which needs urgent care to prevent vision loss.
👓 If you notice floaters or flashes, don’t ignore them! Schedule an eye exam today to make sure your vision stays healthy.
