Thank You for Supporting Our Jamba Fundraiser! 🌟🍓

We’re excited to share that our recent fundraiser with Jamba was a wonderful success, and it’s all thanks to YOU!

To everyone who stopped by, shared the word, or simply cheered us on, your support means the world to us and to the women we serve at Arizona Women’s Recovery Center (AWRC). Every smoothie sipped helped fuel our mission to empower women on their journey to recovery and independence. Funds raised will go toward move-in assistance for some of our women who just took the first step toward recovery!

A huge shoutout to Jamba (16th St & Camelback) for partnering with us and making this event so special. Your generosity and community spirit are truly appreciated! ❤️

Thank you AAAP for recognizing Arizona Women's Recovery Center. We’re proud to stand alongside other amazing organizations that are making a huge difference in the addiction field and helping those in recovery.

The 3rd Annual Community Circle Awards are presented by the Membership Committee of the Arizona Association of Addiction Professionals (AAAP) - chaired by Heather Moore, LIAC, MAC.

The first award recognizes an agency/organization in Arizona that has contributed significantly to the addiction field in the past year. We have narrowed down the nominees to the top 4 - Hushabye Nursery, New Freedom, notMYkid, & Arizona Women's Recovery Center - please vote for your favorite!

The second award recognizes an exceptional individual addiction professional in Arizona for their dedication in making a difference for our clients and our colleagues (with a preference for NAADAC members). Do you know an addiction professional in Arizona who deserves special recognition for dedication to our field? Please nominate them - and self-nominations are accepted!

All votes/nominations need to be submitted by September 15th, 2025 - so don't delay!

The Membership Committee will meet on Thursday September 18th at 5:45p on zoom to review the voting/nomination results and select the award winners. Award winners will be honored during the Thursday October 23rd all-member business meeting at 5:30p on zoom. (zoom links will be available closer to meeting dates)

As a reminder, all NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals members who live/work in Arizona are automatically members of AAAP and encouraged to attend all meetings!
