Welcome to Prisma Community Care! Located in downtown Phoenix, we are a nonprofit organization & health and wellness center. We offer whole-person wellness.

Located in downtown Phoenix, we are a nonprofit organization and health and wellness clinic dedicated to removing obstacles in healthcare so that every Arizonan can enjoy their very best health. We serve everyone seeking a safe space for inclusive, affirming health and wellness services. We focus on whole-person wellness, our offerings include primary care, mental health services, HIV/STI testing and treatment, and much more. Founded in 1990 as Phoenix Body Positive and later known as the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, Prisma Community Care was established by and for individuals living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, including their families and partners. The organization eventually began doing business as the Southwest Center before adopting its current name, Prisma Community Care, on January 1, 2025.

Reminder: In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Prisma Community Care is closed on Monday, January 19. Resuming normal operations on Tuesday, January 20.

This day honors Dr. King’s legacy and his call for justice, including health equity. Communities of color and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities still face barriers in access to care and health outcomes. Prisma remains committed to providing just, equitable, stigma-free care rooted in respect for identity and lived experience.

We are grateful to the Mayo Clinic ERG volunteers who spent time supporting Prisma and helping prepare Nice Package orders. Nice Package is Prisma's mail order service that supports community prevention by making s*xual health supplies more accessible across all of Arizona.
Volunteer time and community support help more people get what they need to stay safe and healthy. Alongside donor support, this generosity helps sustain our outreach and prevention work across the community.
