I didn't do a full write-up or video for today's solar eclipse and new moon, but it's certainly a doozy! We have three YODs happening, which is also called a "Finger of God" or "Finger of Destiny." It's unusual to have even one, let alone three. Plus, there are several other major aspects shaking things up. Themes of a major turning point for humanity echo throughout. New ways of thinking and jolts of information are giving us a reality check while expanding our consciousness and stretching the edges of what we believe is possible. We're also thinking about the kind of future we want to build together, lifting veils of illusion and fanaticism. We are fighting for equality and taking responsibility and action for what has been done. Virgo is about discernment, noticing the details, and doing what it takes to fix things. We're being shown what needs to be fixed. Are you learning the lessons of the past and moving into a future that's inclusive and honors the multifaceted, multidimensional nature of being human?

Wrapping up week 3 of the Wisdom of Earth online aromatherapy immersion and certification. These were the oils we went over today. I love reconnecting with them and seeing them through my students' eyes and experiences. Working with so many of the oils at once has such a profound effect - looking forward to what comes through in dreamtime, but first some gentle movement.

Lilith, the Blue Mary and the embodiment of the divine feminine. The sinner and mother. This dicotomy comes up a lot in my life - with these literal words being used to express feelings towards me.

This month 2 of my absolute favorites are being featured - Blue Chamomile & Black Cardamom - notice both of these oils have the word "mom" in them.

Blue Chamomile allows us to sink and be held in the unconditional love of the Great mother - helping us to feel safe and calm - and never alone. I often associate this one with the "mother mary" though she refers herself to me as the blue mary. Nothing calms me faster or more completely than dousing myself in blue chamomile laying on the ground wrapped in a weighted blanket and listening to Let it Be or praying the rosary (my slightly tweaked version that I will share at the bottom).

Black Cardamom invites us into the darkness of the void - into the pure raw emotion that often is suppressed. She helps us see the parts of us that we have deemed unacceptable - our most primal needs and instincts. She is my Lilith oil. She is rememberence of who we are as whole. She is not for casual use as she pulls you into deep shadow work, learning to decondition fear and shame. She reminds us that all parts of ourselves deserved to seen and loved unconditionally. When we don't have a healthy relationship with these parts they can take over when we least expect them - that one little thing that pushes over the edge.

Black Cardamom embodies the transformational energy of Scorpio and Pluto. Blue Chamomile embodies the all encompassing mothering energy of Cancer. These 2 are water signs forming a trine of unconditional support when we allow ourselves to just BE. Blue Chamomile softens us so we no longer fear the dark that the rawness of Black Cardamom brings.

This is the divine feminine energy rising - having nothing to do with gender but to be intergrated with all souls on the planet that have been conditioned through 1000s of years of patriarchy.

In the next week I will be annoucing a workshop to work with this energy. Any one that purchases the oils during the sale I will give an additional discount for the class. It will likely be a hybrid online/in person class and be conducted over 2 sessions. I want to teach you to work with them - give you an opportunity to do the work on your own then come back.

Pisces energy can be the master of chaos - the more things pile on the more you have to find your calm in the center of the storm and focus on what's right in front of you. The north node is in Pisces and with the south node in Virgo for all of us right now. Pushing us to stop trying to manage all of the details and allowing the bigger picture to take shape. My moon is in Pisces and Sun in Virgo so I live in this everyday - some days more that others and right now I'm feeling it. Right now I revising my personal schedule for the next few weeks mostly for childcare purposes, knowing full well there are so many moving pieces, as well as longer stretches that take more of my time to doing other things. My virgo mind still needs the details to ground in - even if i know they are fluid and likely to need adjustment, it helps just having some guide posts.
