Over the past decade, Arizona has seen a 171% increase in child deaths due to fi****ms, with the most affected age group being teens ages 15-17. In 2024, 68 children died from firearm related injuries, all deemed as being preventable. Additional findings show that fi****ms are increasingly involved in youth su***de deaths, with access to fi****ms being the biggest risk factor.
