The 2025-2026 flu vaccine is available for this upcoming fall and winter season. The best thing you can do to protect your children from the flu is to get them vaccinated. Pediatricians recommend children get an annual flu shot as soon as it is available. The AAP recommends that all children aged 6 months and older get their flu vaccine. Learn more here:

An average of 3 children die in a motor vehicle accident every day in the United States, and over 400 are injured. To better understand contributing factors, researchers analyzed data on more than 52,000 children involved in fatal car crashes between 2011 and 2021 as reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
