Peace in practice doesn't always look quiet.

Sometimes it looks like release.
A body shaking off tension it has held for too long.
A breath getting deeper after years of bracing.
Emotion surfacing because there is finally enough space for it to be felt.

That kind of moment may not look polished.
But it can be honest in a way that matters more.

Yoga isn't always the image of calm.
Sometimes it's the body telling the truth at last.

Haha. Thanks Brian!

Haha. Thanks Brian!

You can ignore your body for years.
It will patiently wait.
Then one day it collects everything all at once.

Free items:

1). Does anyone want a large mirror (4ft x 7ft) with damage to the back that shows in the front? I’m guessing someone that knows how to fix it, someone looking to use it to exercise in a garage and doesn’t really mind the scratch, or maybe an art teacher or someone else that would want to break it up and use for something else? It’s hard to see in the photos but there is a long scratch from cutting the backing with a razor blade. (My sweet office manager did her best to photograph the mirror and damage).

It’s large and heavy and you would need to remove and transport it yourself.

I need it gone by this Friday in order to prep for our Grand Opening celebration next weekend.

2) Two small stands

3) 30-40 moving boxes of various sizes.

Please email my office to let us to coordinate a time to pick them up. Office@swanptandmfr.com

Top 6 Reasons to Try Myofascial Release:

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing pain, tension, or feeling “off” in your body… this might be what you’ve been missing.

1. It addresses the root cause—not just symptoms

MFR targets fascial restrictions that can be pulling the body out of balance, instead of just chasing where it hurts.

2. It creates lasting results

Because fascia responds to time and sustained pressure, changes are often deeper and longer-lasting than quick, forceful techniques.

3. It helps regulate your nervous system

Gentle, sustained work allows the body to shift out of fight-or-flight and into a state where true healing can happen.

4. It improves mobility and reduces pain

By releasing restrictions, the body can move more freely—often decreasing pain without forcing the body.

5. It supports whole-body healing

MFR doesn’t just affect muscles—it impacts the entire system: posture, organs, circulation, and even emotional patterns held in the body.

6. Helps us age better and more gracefully.

By keeping fascial tissue healthy and supple, we can maintain better mobility, circulation, and overall vitality as we age.

This is not about forcing change.

It’s about creating the space for your body to unwind, reorganize, and heal.

Your body already knows what to do—

sometimes it just needs the right support.

Shoe lifts can sometimes provide temporary relief…

But they don’t address why the imbalance is there in the first place.

If the pelvis is pulled out of balance by fascial restrictions, the body will compensate to stay upright. One leg may appear shorter, posture shifts, and tension patterns develop.

Adding a lift can make things feel better—for a while.

But it’s often just accommodating the pattern, not resolving it.

The underlying restriction is still there.

This can lead to:
✨recurring pain
✨ongoing imbalance
✨dependence on the lift
✨new compensation patterns over time

What if instead of adjusting the outside…
we addressed the inside?

With Myofascial Release, we use gentle sustained pressure to release the fascial restrictions that are pulling the pelvis out of alignment.

As the body unwinds, the pelvis can begin to rebalance naturally—without force.

True stability comes from within the body, not from adding layers to the outside.

Sometimes the question isn’t “What do I need to add?”
It’s “What does my body need to release?”

If you are unhappy, uninspired, or unmotivated… start within.

When life feels heavy, don’t rush to change the world—
begin with what you can gently care for.

If you are unhappy, start with the body.
Nourish it with good food.
Rest it without guilt.
Move it with intention.
In Buddhism, the body is not separate from the mind—
a restless body often carries a restless mind.

If you are uninspired, start with the mind.
Feed it new ideas.
Expose it to different perspectives.
Open it to curiosity instead of judgment.
A closed mind creates a closed life.

If you are unmotivated, start with the heart.
Reconnect with your purpose.
Ask yourself: Why does this matter to me?
And more importantly—
Who can I serve through this?
Because meaning fuels motivation.

The Buddha taught that suffering begins within—
and so does healing.

You don’t need a new life overnight.
You need small, mindful shifts
in your body, your thoughts, and your intentions.

Start there.
Everything else will follow.
