Benefits of EAAs vs. BCAAs. They both are great for building and preserving muscle on a restricted diet or when training intensely. EAA essentially give you more amino acids so overall they will work better than BCAAs. EAAs provide you with all 8 of the amino acids that your body cannot produce naturally and need to be consumed. The main thing I’ve noticed with these supplements and muscle preservation and faster recovery with less soreness. They aren’t something that you need because you can get them from food or protein powder but they are good when training on a restricted diet or training intensely high intensity or volume to prevent muscle breakdown and loss. Your body also absorbs amino acids more readily when they come in balanced amounts vs high levels of just a few of them. EAAs would be a better choice overall.

Ball squats are great for balance and strengthening stabilizing muscles in the knee and hip joints. You can do them on a BOSU ball as well which is easier. Anything that requires balance and causes your body to shake or vibrate activates deep stabilizing muscles, releasing tension in the muscle, and training your nervous system. This is one way I work on injuries or weak areas. Injuries mainly heal through release of tension and inflammation, massage, creating space (through stretching, foam roll, or massage), and then strengthening stabilizing muscles.

Been warming up with kicks before lifting weights. I really the dynamic movement especially with the spinning kicks it really helps loosen and warm up the muscles.

Insomnia is not fun and I suffered from it from many years. I tried a lot of different herbs, supplements, and even medications to help with it. Medications may seem to work but your not really sleeping, they put your brain in a state that’s similar to being in a coma or anesthesia so your not getting good quality REM sleep. I definitely would not recommend any sleeping medication! I found that the combination of melatonin, magnesium, and zinc will put me out in 5-10 mins. I take them every day and sleep like a normal person now. It used to take me 1-3 hours to fall asleep. But with this combo I’m out in 5-10 mins. I also do a mental exercise where I relax my eye sockets, then progress throughout my body similar to yoga nidra on some days where I find it harder to drift off. Collagen peptides are a superior form of protein that you can take post workout. I have noticed a huge difference in how my joints feel and also old injuries compared to when I used to use whey protein. Collagen peptides can also help with hair, skin, and nails. Collagen is definitely the better choice for longevity and recovery. EAAs are also great which I will probably make a video about soon. Lmk if you have any questions.

Recently made some big shifts I’ve been living off grid on my friends farm community for a few months now, been working on building a cabin and learning a bunch about farming and living off grid in a community. My sheep just had a baby!!! I’ve been wanting to live in a farm community for years and I’m happy to finally have the experience. I really believe that eco farm communities is the way of the future. For people to connect, work together, in healthy sustainable ways that will ultimately benefit the world. We are tribal by nature and community has been a major thing missing from our lives. Also growing and producing our own food, homes, and living in harmony with nature is a lot more satisfying than working a 9-5 that has no direct correlation to our survival. I hope to learn and grow overtime and hope to see more sustainable farm communities start up in the future!
