Dr. Valentin is the Director of Center for Integrative Medicine and works in Integrative Medicine and Family Health Care.
Her focus is on healing the patient and finding the true cause of their symptoms and illness. Dr. Valentin specializes in integrative medicine utilizing her training in Nutrition, IV Therapy, Acupuncture, Homeopathy and Pharmaceuticals. She specializes in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement for women in menopause, peri-menopause and menstrual problems and has post-graduate education through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) in Bio-identical hormones. She also works with hormone replacement therapy for men. As Dr. Valentin works in Family Health Care she sees many patients of all different age groups as well as different Pathologies. Dr. Valentin truly cares about her patients and also treats conditions such as Hashimoto's or other Thyroid problems, Digestive issues, Anxiety, Depression, Heavy Metal toxicity and many other Chronic Conditions and Autoimmune Diseases.
Prior to medical school, she worked in the corporate world, starting her career with IBM in New York as a programmer and systems analyst. She later studied nutrition, and also founded and ran her own e-commerce site with a focus on quality wooden toys and games. During this time she also homeschooled her three children, who were working in the professional performing arts industry. She then returned to work in the biotech field as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager for Biocare Medical, which sold antibodies for cancer detection. Having been part of the business and corporate world, she is familiar with the stresses and demands of that lifestyle. After attending Medical School in her 50's she brought many life experiences with her both to Medical School and from Medical School to share with all of her patients.
