Dr Matt Colby A Sports Injury Practice for Athletes of All Sorts Dr. Matthew Colby is the founder of Arizona Biomechanics in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr Matt focuses on merging conventional rehab with other forms of sport-science to help people overcome their injuries, chronic dysfunction and pain. Patients include everyone from weekend warriors to professional athletes and Olympians. The clinic has quickly become a go-to spot for rehab spot for competitive gymnasts, CrossFit athletes and MMA athletes. Outside of sports rehab, Matt helps chronic pain patients and complex low back and neck pain cases. Matt is the former editor of Phoenix Health and Wellness Magazine and has authored dozens of articles on sports injury management and treatment, chronic pain, frozen shoulder syndrome and spinal disc rehabilitation. Matt earned his first bachelors degree in Biology from Radford University. His second bachelors degree in Health Sciences and his doctor of chiropractic were from Logan University. He is also board-certified in Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures in Arizona. Matt has completed over 120 hours of post-graduate clinical neurology training with the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. He has also completed post-graduate study courses in pain management, spinal disc conditions, various pain syndromes, myofascial pain and radiculopathy. Certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia in 2008, he has since performed and assisted in over 150 hours of procedures in Phoenix surgical centers. Matt is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Currently, Matt also works as a sports-injury consultant for multiple MMA and competitive fitness organizations, performing injury evaluations and physical medicine with their athletes.
