We had such a great time at STREATAZ: Street Eats & Beats Festival, Arizona’s first AAPI music festival this past weekend! It was three full days of music, delicious food, cute merch and incredible performances. 🎶🎤

Our phenomenal team of PACH volunteers handed out free emergency contraceptives to anyone who needed them and shared information about the care we provide at PACH. We were also joined by our friends at APCA (), who shared their awesome educational materials on heat relief.

We loved being there, and we hope to be part of many more in the future. 💚

This was Phoenix Allies for Community Health's second year attending CAIR-AZ’s Annual Banquet (.arizona) and we were really glad to be there. In a time of astronomical anti-immigrant campaigns, raids and fear, CAIR-AZ has stepped in to provide educational workshops that help our volunteers and the people we serve understand their rights.

At the event, we heard from speakers ranging from local community leaders to congressional leaders. They spoke openly about the ongoing genocides in Palestine and Sudan, and about the deep harm caused when governments (including past and current U.S. administrations) fund and enable violence against entire peoples. And how the weaponization of Islamophobia is used to justify and obscure violence that is actively killing a generation of people in their homes.

At PACH, we have always stood and will always stand against genocide, colonialism, and the systems that decide who gets to live and who is treated as disposable. Our work in immigrant rights and health justice is rooted in this understanding. We’re trying to build a model of care that refuses to replicate the dehumanization our communities face. This includes the immigrant and migrant families we serve who are also affected by Islamophobia. And this also includes our volunteers who are affected by Islamophobia. In our little corner of Phoenix, we choose care without borders, without fear, and without treating anyone as expendable.

We will always stand in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors.
We stand in solidarity with our Muslim patients, volunteers, friends, and family.
And we stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and Sudan.

PACH is one of the only places in Phoenix metro where uninsured patients can receive consistent primary care without fear, cost, or barriers. We are a volunteer-run, community health clinic and truly, your support is what keeps the lights on, the exam rooms stocked and our patients cared for.

This GivingTuesday, we’re inviting you to give today and anytime from now through December 31. Every donation this month will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000, which means your gift goes twice as far in keeping our clinic open for the more than 100 families who rely on PACH for safe, free, and dignified healthcare.

This match lets your gift stretch even further:

➡️ $10 buys a box of glucose test strips for a diabetic patient (matched to $20!)

➡️ $25 covers a patient’s blood work for six months (matched to $50, covering a full year!)

➡️ $75 helps us restock essential medical supplies

➡️ $100 covers the cost of a breast ultrasound (matched to $200 for two breast ultrasounds!)

➡️ $200 pays for a mammogram screening (matched to $400 for two patient mammogram screenings!)

Every gift helps us stay open and this month, every gift is doubled. Our goal is to unlock the full $5,000 match, which will allow us to continue showing up for our community with love, dignity, and care.

If you’ve ever considered becoming a monthly donor, this is the perfect time. Consistent support helps us plan ahead and provide stable, ongoing care to the families who trust us most.

All donations are tax-deductible.
Give today for GivingTuesday, or anytime this month, your impact will be doubled either way.

A couple of weeks ago, our phenomenal friends invited us to partner with them to table at the Arizona Maternal and Child Health Workforce and Policy Summit by .

Our shared work in access to healthcare, social justice, community-based care and maternal health made this a meaningful place to show up together, which is beautifully represented on the table we shared.

On our shared table, we brought community-designed merchandise (proceeds support direct care), highlighted items made by community members (profits go straight to the creatives) and offered free emergency contraception for anyone who needed it.

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Aliyah Gonzales 🌟

Aliyah has been volunteering at PACH for about a year, assisting with patient intake, taking vitals, and ensuring patients feel supported throughout their visits. Inspired by PACH’s mission to uplift the immigrant community, her experience has strengthened her passion for compassionate, community-based healthcare and her commitment to pursuing medicine. Aliyah hopes to attend medical school in the next five years while continuing to stay connected to PACH and its mission of equity in healthcare. We appreciate Aliyah's dedication and hard work this past year.

We are so excited to highlight our new Assistant Clinic Managers: Brandon Nevarez and Anjali Raju! 💚

Brandon holds a bachelor's degree in Global Health from ASU. He has been a proud PACH volunteer for about four years, starting as an interpreter and later expanding into roles such as intake, lab work, fundraising, community outreach, and co-teaching culinary wellness classes for diabetic patients. What first drew him to PACH was his background as the child of undocumented immigrants—he knows firsthand the barriers many of our patients face and felt called to step in and help however he could. He is incredibly excited to serve as Assistant Clinic Manager, not only to give back to the community that shaped him, but to continue learning and growing alongside a team and a cause that deeply inspires him.

Anjali, a proud Arizona native and graduate of ASU, has dedicated her career to advancing inclusive healthcare. With extensive experience in intake, scribing, PACH outreach events, and health fairs, Anjali has developed a nuanced understanding of patient needs and the importance of accessible care. Through these roles, she has strengthened connections within the community and passionately advocated for culturally competent healthcare. Volunteering at PACH has profoundly deepened her passion for service and enhanced her resolve to support those in need. Now, as Assistant Clinic Manager, Anjali is eager to leverage her comprehensive experience and unwavering dedication to make a positive impact on both PACH's patients and its dedicated team.
