🎨 What if a painted umbrella could raise Alzheimer’s awareness? It can — and it is.

The competition is a creative social media campaign led by Spectrum Retirement senior living communities in support of Alzheimer's Association. Each community designed a hand-painted Artbrella to honor those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Mountain Park Senior Living is proudly representing our region with an Artbrella inspired by a symbol that’s brought our community together — ducks!

Our Executive Director, Mackenzie, is known for her love of ducks, and over time, residents have gifted her a growing collection. It’s become a lighthearted inside joke and a fun, unifying theme within our community. That joy, connection, and playfulness were the inspiration behind our duck-themed design — a tribute to the spirit we share here every day.

With your help, we could win our bracket and advance to the Final Four for a shot at national recognition.

Residents rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on pasta-making class—mixing, kneading, and shaping their own noodles from scratch. Once cooked, each resident chose their favorite sauce to top off their masterpiece. The room was filled with smiles, delicious aromas, and that unmistakable feeling of “I made this!”
