Arizona Gives Day is TODAY. Since this time last month, more than 600 individuals have reached out to NAMI Valley of the Sun seeking support for mental health challenges.
Our goal is to raise $7500 on Arizona Gives Day-so that when someone asks for help, we can say yes.
Will you make a gift today? Your donation helps provide education, support groups, and advocacy along with vital resources that empower individuals and families to find hope, healing, and stability.
Thank you for standing with us and helping ensure no one faces mental health challenges alone.

We invite community members to come and learn more about Senate Bill 1055 and what it could mean for our community.
This is especially important for individuals living with serious mental illness, as well as family members and caregivers supporting loved ones. In moments of crisis, access to timely and trusted support is critical.
As policies like SB1055 are considered, it is important to understand how they may impact individuals with mental health conditions and their willingness to seek help from law enforcement or crisis response teams.
We encourage open, respectful dialogue and shared learning so that all community members feel informed, supported, and safe when accessing care and services.

This past week, the students at Desiderata were asked to write or draw what mental health means to them.

Some prompting questions asked were:
1. How does stigma play a role in mental health?
2. What self-care and/or coping skills do you find helpful?
3. What would you like parents/adults to know about talking and listening to youth?

Check out what they had to say! 💭✍️

We’re not done sharing highlights from this incredible event yet, but for now… thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing up and standing with us.
