We are deeply saddened by the passing of Suzanne Pfister, President and CEO of Vitalyst Health Foundation AZ. 💙

Suzanne was more than a philanthropic leader. She was a trusted friend and a tireless advocate of improving the health of individuals and communities in Arizona. Through Suzanne’s servant leadership, she led Vitalyst to be the organization that has established itself as a thought leader, convener, framer and catalyst of key health initiatives and coalitions throughout Arizona.

Her passion for putting people first and her vision for healthier communities left a legacy that continues to guide and inspire us.

Our thoughts are with her family, her team at Vitalyst and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Suzanne’s leadership, kindness and commitment to service will not be forgotten, it will live on in the work of Vitalyst and all of us who are inspired by her passion, kindness and commitment to advancing and broadening the concept of health in Arizona. 🕊️

In 2023, more than 9,800 Arizona students were referred to behavioral health services through their schools.

This reflects a growing awareness that mental health is essential to student success and that schools, families and healthcare providers are working together to get kids the support they need.
