I had a VIP in my office this week!
This cuttie is my auntie Amal, and she is living her best life!
Hiking everyday she’s been here, cooking a classic Mediterranean diet and rockin the best blood pressure of her life!!
Cholesterol is being treated with a for now, but we are looking to optimize her vitamin therapy and will be able to back off some of her meds!

The newest addition to our Wellness Tree, my patient Luo! He has come a long way these past 6 years. He had really aggressive that eventually required amputation. Even with this limitation he has continued to be active (even playing with his prosthetic!

So proud to add Leslie to our Wellness Tree! Our lovely lady Standing Up 2 weeks after breaking her Femur(under the watchful eye of our in-house PT, Dr Burke).
For 6 months prior to her fall, she had reversed her Diastolic Heart Failure, with an excellent diet and excellent blood pressure control. She was able to breeze through the emergency surgery on this, the biggest bone in our body!

As you can imagine, nutrition has become a huge part of my day-to-day practice. It is my firm belief that nutrition and exercise or activity are the most important determinates of health.
