The rest of Spring Break Animal Camp was a success! Thank you Wildcat Ranch for hosting. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out through out the week, and lastly thank you to all the families for trusting me with your campers these last 5 days. I had such a blast getting to know each individual camper!

Wildcat Ranch is hosting a Spring Break Animal Camp from March 17th- 21st! This camp will be from 9am-2pm all week long. We are looking for kiddos aged 6-13, and volunteers who love to give back to the community. CAMP DETAILS
Camp is located at our beautiful Wildcat Ranch Phoenix.
Address: 2148 E Desert Ln. Phoenix, AZ
Animals onsite include horses, goats, dogs and chickens.
Children ages 7-13 are welcome. If you would like to stay onsite as a parent you can just let us know! (Independent 6 year olds are welcome!)
Families can choose to participate in 1 day or all 5 days.
Lunch will NOT be provided.
Children will partake in activities such as:
Spending time outside
Learning how to care for animals
Grooming animals
Animal related crafts
Painting horseshoes
Scavenger hunts
Obstacle courses
Water activities
Storytime with the horses
Learning to throw a Lasso
Riding
And So MUCH MORE
COST
$100 for 1 Day
$450 for all 5 Days
ESA funds are accepted through classwallet

Day 2 of our Herzog Foundation Crisis Management Training. My colleague and I discovered the critical role that evacuation, lockdown, and safety plans play in crisis management. We also learned about the benefits of practicing drills with staff. This conference has been fantastic. ✨

Kicked off day 1 of the Herzog Foundation Crisis Management Conference. The coaches discussed how the brain responds to crisis.

Thank you everyone that came out to support our mission at Wildcat Ranch. The Wild West Casino Night, consisted of casino tables, auction items, great food, raffle items, barn tours and incredible company. Thank you again for all the donations, volunteers, support, love and kindness to every one who showed up yesterday. 🫶🏽🐴

A question I ask myself and all of my students, “what zone are you in today?” This simple activity allows for us to acknowledge where we are and how to best identify some of our emotions. It also helps us think of ways to get back to the green zone.

In case some of you did not know, I work in a school 3 days a week providing behavioral and emotional support to kids grades PK-8th. I absolutely love being able to do both Feeling Herd and being in a school.

Today was such a success! Feeling Herd was honored to be invited to participate in Rock Solid Connect Fest, hosted by notMYkid and KIDS Kindness Org. We engaged with various community members, addressed their inquiries, and scheduled follow-up meetings. 🏓 PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
When: Sunday September 8th 6PM-8:30PM
Where: Chicken and Pickle
9330 W. Hanna Ln Glendale, AZ
Cost: $75 per team
What: A pickleball tournament hosted by Wildcat Ranch (location of Feeling Herd)! The exciting part is that all proceeds support the ranch towards getting a covered arena for therapy!

🧠FREE CONNECT FEST FOR KIDS
When: Saturday, September 14, 11AM-2PM
Where: NOTMYKID
5310 E. Shea Blvd. Scottsdale
Cost: FREE
What: Feeling Herd will be hosting a table at this vendor event completely free to the public. This event is meant to offer children a choice for after school activities.

🐴 RIDING LESSONS START AGAIN
When: October
Where: Wildcat Ranch
2148 E Desert Ln. Phoenix, AZ
Cost: $40 for 30min lesson, $75 for 60min lesson
What: Since the weather will be cooling off more in September, riding lessons will be resuming in October! Stay tuned for more updates!
