People ask me often what’s the #1 thing they can do to prevent aging. WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN! The sun not only causes hyperpigmentation/brown spots but also begins breaking down collagen and elastin, resulting in sagging skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

These are SPFs that I wear daily/weekly. Ok maybe you don’t need 5, but here are the differences in my SPFs:
• one for daily wear under makeup
• one for daily wear instead of makeup • one to wear while working out

Vitamin D is so important for your skin (also very important for your immune system, so with COVID-19 running rampant, I upped my dose.. see 's IG for info!) What do I personally do to keep my levels up? I supplement with a sublingual D3 from Thorne every day and I get a small amount of sun exposure every morning, without sunscreen.

GASP! Did Anny just say WITHOUT SUNSCREEN? Yes, yes I did. But I'm talking 5-30 minutes (depending on your skin tone) in early morning sunlight. Still, I never expose my face to the sun because I have melasma and hyperpigmentation, but that's for another post...

Spring is here in sunny AZ (always a little early, but we’ll take it!) and it’s time to whip out my favorite outdoor sunscreen!

I have a secret... I’m in love with a cleanser! Skin Script’s Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser with Aloe, Jojoba and Grape Seed, to be exact.

In my opinion, it is the best AM cleanser for people with normal/combo/dry skin! This milky cleanser leaves you feeling super hydrated, a perfect way to start your day! I prefer to remove it with dehydrated sponges (check Amazon for these babies!)
