Nearly three years ago, I embarked on an amazing journey with an organization committed to elevating, empowering, and inspiring current and future generations. Walking alongside a remarkable woman on a mission to help Filipinas reach their full potential has been incredibly inspiring. Throughout these years, I've encountered countless inspirational individuals who have generously shared their healing, talents, and abilities. Today, I proudly pass the torch, paving the way for more world changers to continue this magnificent legacy.
Thank you, Therese, for showing me how to build a legacy organization while also loving and serving our community well. Your unwavering commitment and visionary leadership have profoundly impacted me. Your ability to balance compassion with ambition is a lesson I will carry forward in all my future endeavors.
To the "Dream Team," I am deeply grateful for your willingness to share your knowledge and experience. Your dedication and teamwork have been a constant source of motivation and learning for me. I will treasure the camaraderie, creativity, and collaborative spirit we cultivated together. I'll miss working with such a wonderful group, which has been one of the highlights of this journey.

I'm reaching out on behalf of Sun Valley Celebrate Recovery - East Mesa Campus, a devoted team committed to fostering positive change in our community by helping people heal from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups, all while they meet, know, and follow Jesus.
I am excited to share our annual initiative—bringing joy to those in Halfway Houses across the Phoenix Metro area by providing Christmas presents and other essential supplies. For many, it may be their first Christmas gift ever. Our goal is to raise $100 for each of the 200+ individuals we aim to support. Your generous contribution will help create magical moments and bring smiles to those in need, reflecting the true meaning of Christmas.
To make a difference, we're seeking donations by December 15th. Contribute via Venmo to [-Boll] with "Christmas Gift Donation EM" in the description.
Your generosity, no matter the amount, will brighten lives and reflect the true Christmas spirit.
Thank you for considering our cause.
In His love,
Maryann Clark

ONE year of healing from codependency, resentments, and marital hurts.
I doesn't feel like a year has gone by and yet, it does. I've put in many hours into this healing process. It's been a humbling road coming out of denial, realizing I cannot do this without my Lord and Savior, and surrendering to His Will.
The biggest realization I had was:
I WAS MY OWN PROBLEM.

This blog is based upon my personal experiences managing my mental health conditions as a first generation Filipino American. I learned quickly after my diagnoses that my view on mental health was very different from that of my parents – who immigrated to The States in 1974 and 1975.
This journey of self love and acceptance of a chemical imbalance has been very isolating with an ever-present feeling of shame and guilt. I pray that through what I share on this platform, those suffering in silence gain a voice and support that maybe has never been given to them.
What to expect
I want to start by saying that I am in no way an expert on any medical condition and would ask that you please consult with a mental health professional or physician for any medical diagnosis and treatment.
I am not a professional writer so please prepare yourselves for grammatical errors and improper syntax – Guys, I’m a mom of five, I have no time to be out here jabbing away the day, so no frills or fancy things. I just want to share my story in hopes to begin to change the narrative.
You will see me reference my relationship with Christ. I have been a Christ follower for more than half of my life and it is a HUGE part of who I am. So if a Christ-centered blog is not your thing, no hard feelings if you leave. I am not ashamed of what my Lord and Savior has done in to turn my trials into testimonies.
What you will not see
I have been asked by some family members to not broadcast names or share photos of them, so to respect their wishes and those of any other contributor on my blog, I will not post any pictures of anyone else but myself. This subject is a very sensitive subject for the majority of the Filipinos I come in contact with. Most do not want to share their struggles but do want to make a difference, and I respect that.
What will I talk about
📷
Why is mental health is a stigma in the Filipino Community?
Who is helping change the narrative?
What is mental health?
How can I begin to help myself?
My mental health journey
My children’s mental health journey
Collaborations with others Filipinos and their journey
How has my relationship with Christ helped me?
A self harm story…
How our family manages all of our conditions
A social media support group
And so much MORE!
