A good pediatrician will “keep an eye” on your baby’s progression of eye development, so I don’t feel they need an optometrist exam at six months as the article suggests.

Healthy eyes and good vision play a critical role in infant and child development. Early detection of problems ensures babies have an opportunity to develop visual abilities needed to grow and learn.
