Hello everyone,
Long time no see ☺️. Life got busy and got productive. I'm now in a place and in a position to share our journey.
Here is a snapshot.
My son is now 19 years old, going to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona on a full scholarship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude last June, GPA 3.95. We decided that he should take a year off before college to travel and learn about life and all that jazz. ERAU was his only choice. He studied abroad for the last two years, so when he came back we had to sit with DDD and determine if he is still eligible for services. He is not eligible, no surprise there.
What does he do now? he works out, hangs out with friends online from different countries, he is studying Bulgarian, speaks Spanish and English, we talk about politics, culture, future. He continues to study on IXL.c om and has a keen interest in investments and the stock market.
Below is a post about the Sunrise program, shared by a friend. Sunrise is where I started 17 years ago.

For now, I will just say this. DO NOT GIVE UP. The best is yet to come,
