Growing up, did you eat commercial cereals like Froot Loops and Lucky Charms?

Do you ever walk through the supermarket now and wonder how these cereals are even still legal to produce, let alone be sold? I DO! 🤔

Loaded with proven gut-undermining ingredients, colorants linked to cancer, half a dozen types of artificial sugars, nasty preservatives, toxic oils, and we wonder why ADHD, diabetes, and nineteen other diseases are an epidemic!

The sad part is that so many families are still consuming these products and not acknowledging the consequences on their and/or their children’s health.

If you’re reading this, then you’re, likely (I hope 😂), currently eating cleaner foods than Cap’t Crunch, and probably have been for some time.

BUT: It’s still possible that you have health issues, and they may be confusing you.

What I learned in my early twenties is that it’s not necessarily what we’re eating now that can be causing our current health problems.

The culprit can be the history of our Devil Dog eating days that’s still laden in our cells.

While I’ve never allowed a pop tart to be an ingestible provision, I still had my toxic faves: Doritos, Cracker Jacks, Oreos.

So it was the congesting oxygen-robbing remnants from those awful eatables that were the cause of my rashes, infections, and weight gain.

Over the course of time, I was able to excavate those free-loaders and experience youthful vibes, vibrant skin, and a leaner physique.

But experiencing these results took time, patience, and repetition of more alkaline eating choices, coupled with proper food combining, juices, and lots of gravity colonics!

🔊Sound on!

Q: What do Ryan Seacrest and metabolic enzymes have in common? A: They both know how to keep things moving and on time.

Today's "show" features more intel on enzymes. There are two kinds of enzymes:
1. Digestive: exogenous - produced outside the body
2. Metabolic: endogenous - produced inside the body.

If digestive enzymes are your gut's "breakdown and cleanup crew," then metabolic enzymes are the "operations managers" for everything else in your body.

HOW THEY WORK: Once nutrients are absorbed, metabolic enzymes are like having your very own Ryan Seacrest make a guest appearance inside your gut to run the show.

Metabolic enzymes build muscle, repair tissues, manage detoxification, create energy, even support your immune system.

Consider them the project managers of your body’s health. And when you’re chronically stressed, undernourished, or dealing with inflammation, your body might steal digestive enzymes to help out elsewhere.

This can diminish your gut function even more, and overtime can even corrupt our emotional health.

Knowing the impact stress has on our emotions, is the reason why we need to manage them as much as our BIG salad intake.

There's a symbiotic relationship between the two ~ also referred to as the gut-brain connection.

I take you on a deeper dive about this connection in my forthcoming online course, "Gut Health Without The Guesswork" and the science behind various health conditions related to its breakdown, but for now, here's a quick overview:

Metabolic enzymes are produced inside your body, primarily by your cells –– especially in your liver, pancreas, and throughout your tissues.

They're not consumed through food. These enzymes do not help with digestion.

→ Instead, they focus on the following tasks:
• Build and repair tissues
• Convert nutrients into energy (ATP) Adenosine Triphosphate. • Detoxify the body
• Regulate hormone production
• Keep your immune system humming.

You can’t eat metabolic enzymes, but you can feed your body the foods it needs to make them:
✅ Micronutrients; sprouts
✅ Protein: raw nuts/seeds, lean meat
✅ Healthy fats: avocado
✅ Antioxidants: blueberries, grapes, beets, avocados
✅ Hydration: coconut water

These foods will keep your metabolic enzymes performing like Sting and Stevie Wonder, flawless, reliable, and running smooth.

This reminds me of one of my clients, Kevin, a statistics professional who travels frequently for business, and needs to be on his game.

Titling this one: MY NEW BABY!

How have you been?

It's been way two toooo long since I last connected with you.

I acknowledge I've been out of touch over these last several months ~ so I hope you are still juicing, eating BIG salads, and feeling vibrant!


In retrospect, I felt the need to go inward and work on myself, and also make time to be creative.

And now I'm at the point where I'm super excited to let go of perfection ~

~ raise the lid (at least a little bit) ~ on what I've been working on ~ and reveal this new "baby" of mine with you! 😃


But before I do...a little peek inside my time in stunning Santorini! 🇬🇷 at the retreat I went on with twelve other ladies.

With every blink and breath, another photo of Santorini's stunning landscape was just waiting to be captured.


I'll be sharing more pics with you ...and more about my travels, over time.

On day one, I connected deeply and immediately with a very precious group of soul-sisters who made the experience profoundly meaningful, recharged my spirit, and we truly created what we feel will be life-long bonds.

We dug deep into our resistances, shared our soul's yearnings and heart's desires, and catalyzed the steps for igniting our individualized intentions for growth and change.

We shared, laughed, cried, revealed, journaled, danced, sat in silence, hiked, explored and learned, ate savory and sweet food, took a catamaran ride, did a wild photo shoot (more on that in the near future), I gave massages, and I explored more of the island, solo, on my extra day in Kumari.

I'm already looking forward to Britta's next retreat and sharing that opportunity with you once she designs and announces it!


Now back to my "baby!" 😉

I got married on May 20, 2006, at The Regency Hotel, New York City.


It was a “double-special day” because May 20 is my, Baube's, my late maternal grandmother’s birthday.


I was feeling radiant.


Wearing my dream gown.


Hair all perfect.


Family and friends safely arrived ~ all inside and seated.


I was all ready, in the hotel lobby, my heart and soul pulsing with effervescent excitement, just waiting for my wedding coordinator's cue, as my ceremony was about to begin.


With a turn of my head, BOOM ~ I see Wolf Blitzer, standing right next to me, who immediately offered his personal blessings and words of inspiration. 🥰


How random…and also how cool!!!!


I just met a “wolf” at my wedding! 😂🐺 …but not just any wolf!

I was married for eight years.


I would also file “Getting Divorced” under “Unexpected Things.”


It’s ten years later.


When I get contemplative, it still feels weird that being a divorced person is part of my life’s story.


But it IS part of my story, so I work to accept it, because I cannot change it.


This got me wondering: What part of your life do you work to accept …but in a different way.


Meaning: What do you think you HAVE TO accept about your life ~ that you CAN actually change?
