You need love because it is part of your nature to be fulfilled through love. You can never be fulfilled only through physical love because physical love often brings sorrow. Emotional love often brings upset. Mental love often brings prejudice. But spiritual love brings the consciousness of God and the realization that all things are functioning in accordance with the one law, which is God.

People carry excess baggage they don't need. Instead of adding to yourself to find out what's going on, I tell people to drop what they don't need in order to find out who they really are. When you drop what you don't need, you'll find yourself free in what you have because what you don't need is taken away and what's left is obviously useful to you.

Let your mind be a tool that helps prove to you the existence of the Divine. Let your words be the tool to communicate your Light and your love to others. Use the traits of the mind to create those things that will bring joy, love, and harmony to people. Do not get caught up in the negative patterns of mentalizing. Hold the thought of the Light before you and it will lead you into greater Light.

You are loved just as you are right now. Get that really clear in your heart. There is nothing you have to do differently to be loved by God. Who you are is enough in itself. And it's the truth about you. If the way you are and the way you behave aren't joy-producing for you, then you have the right and the ability to change. Regardless, God's love is consistently available to you.
