What a view from this last contract which I will miss now that it’s completed. 🩷 So peaceful and quiet up here. I’ve seen lots of deer, owls, bunnies, roadrunners, fox, coyotes and javelinas. There are mountain lions and bobcats too but we didn’t cross paths. 😊

A baby’s cry is its way of communicating, whether it’s hunger, discomfort, or a need for reassurance. It’s important to understand that responding to your baby’s cries by picking them up doesn’t create a habit of crying for attention. It’s a natural and loving response that helps your baby feel safe and secure. Babies need comfort and connection, and picking them up when they cry reassures them that they are cared for. This practice not only strengthens your bond but also builds their trust, knowing that their needs will be met.

So don’t worry about spoiling your baby—your nurturing response will help them feel safe as they grow and develop.

Take heart, mama. Motherhood is HARD. But just keep doing the next right thing and you'll be amazing. ❤️
