Dreams without preparation become lessons…

When dreams meet our action for preparation, growth begins. When they don’t, wisdom blooms

&in my body, on this mat, I choose to let them become realities.

Maybe every pilé is a prayer, every breath a promise: “I honor my future by being present in my body/mind today”.

Movement is my meditation.. it’s my nervous system reset, my way of “walk the talk” mind, body, & spirit become interconnected .

Movement / Barre / Fitness does NOT have to just be about building tone muscles . It’s entirely the connection of the three mind/body spirit. You’ll rise up to a more stronger, happier, balanced version of you. Mentally shift your why. Give yourself grace. Show up.

So here’s your reminder: dream & prepare. One simple step towards your dreams each day.

It maybe tiny as a pulse but keep moving towards your truth.

It’s Saturday & who here needs a reminder that you deserve a moment to reset? Whether that means taking an unplugged walk in nature, sipping your coffee slower or just hiding in the shower for an extra 10minutes. Self-care doesn’t have to be outrageous, it doesn’t have to be a 8hour spa day or an expensive item or outing. ~~> What’s essential is that we take a moment intentionally.. reflect, breathe, send gratitude to yourself. Do it, just for you today. That’s a challenge for yah sis!

It’s been 12Weeks since the mic dropped and my baby lol ! Life lately has been a new discovery of balance.. loving it but also I’ve missed you ! So… Calm Down? No way ! As a therapist, mental health and movement coach—and as a mom in my 30s, I’m reminded daily that slowing down needs to be an act of courage, not guilt.

The world can feel heavy sometimes. Motherhood brings so much joy & so many demands, and it’s easy to feel like every moment needs to be productive or managed perfectly. Our schedules, expectations, AND emotions pile up until everything runs in fast-forward mode.

Here’s my reminder to self and others:: Slowing down isn’t just about finding rest—it’s about spiritual presence.

✨It’s pausing to listen to your breath while the kids nap, or taking a moment to stretch your body when anxiety creeps in. In these breaks, we reconnect with ourselves,…tune into our intuition, and remember that peace isn’t found in the next achievement, but in honoring our own rhythm!

To everyone walking through the heaviness of this world::: give yourself space to move slowly, to nurture the spirit and to hear the messages your body offers.

Rest is a sacred practice—a way for the soul to catch up with the mind and body.. and for love to anchor ⚓️ itself in the chaos.

Even in the whirlwind 🌬️ you deserve gentle pauses and spiritual grace.

Let’s remember: Life is more than what we accomplish. It’s how deeply we breathe, how present we become, and the tender moments we notice along the way. 💫

Want to start your week with some good vibes and a serious endorphin boost? Come hang out with me at my Barre Fusion class—Mondays from 10:45AM to 11:45AM!

So, what’s Barre Fusion all about?
It’s your favorite mix of ballet-inspired moves, Pilates stretches, and yoga flows, rolled into one upbeat class. We’ll sculpt, sweat, and laugh our way through a seriously fun workout.

Also…No dance skills required—just bring your energy (and maybe a smile!).😊

When: Mondays, 10:45AM–11:45AM
Where: Lifetime/Happy-Valley Peoria

All you need is an open mind, some water, and yourself. Whether you’re new or already obsessed with barre, you’ll leave feeling strong, stretched, and happy.

Mantra Monday:: “I embrace all the joys and challenges that today will bring”

What is a Mantra and How Can It Aid Healing? 🌟

A mantra is a powerful word, sound, or phrase that you repeat to focus your mind and elevate your spirit!

Originating from ancient spiritual traditions, mantras serve as tools for meditation and self-reflection. They can be chanted aloud or repeated silently, creating a calming rhythm that helps center your thoughts 🫶🏼🙏🏼👏🏼 ((try while folding laundry, doing the dishes, walking, yoga or even just while talking a walk))

How Mantras Help in Healing:

Promote Mindfulness: By concentrating on a mantra, you anchor yourself in the present moment, reducing anxiety and stress ((which comes up for a lot during this time))

Encourage Positive Thinking: Repeating uplifting phrases can shift your mindset, fostering resilience and optimism during challenging times ((practice / repeat / practice / repeat))

Facilitate Emotional Release: Mantras can help process emotions, allowing for healing from past traumas or current stressors (( allow yourself to feel ——> to heal))
