Big Win for Military Health & Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic services are officially returning to select U.S. military bases! The 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) restores chiropractic care at six military clinics that were previously and arbitrarily closed, each serving 400+ patients per month.

This legislation directs the Defense Health Agency to:
*Develop a plan to reopen closed clinics
*Explore placing military chiropractors into the federal GS system
*Report to Congress by March 31, 2026 on the value, availability, and cost-effectiveness of chiropractic care

This move supports the military’s ongoing effort to reduce opioid reliance and expand access to non-drug, evidence-based pain management options. Research, including the largest chiropractic clinical trial ever conducted within the military, shows chiropractic care improves low back pain and helps service members return to duty.

Thank you to Rep. Greg Steube and congressional leaders for championing this important issue and recognizing the proven value of chiropractic care for our Armed Forces.

Arizona Chiropractors, License Renewal Reminder!

Chiropractors in the State of Arizona are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education each year prior to license renewal.

Even-numbered renewal years:
Doctors must complete 2 hours of CE in documentation and record keeping.

License expiration:
Chiropractic licenses expire on the last day of the licensee’s birth month.

Arizona Chiropractors: Documentation CE Requirement for 2025

Documentation & Record Keeping is REQUIRED in 2025

Due to state-level license renewal changes, all chiropractors in Arizona must complete 2 hours of continuing education in documentation and record keeping in 2025, regardless of renewal cycle.

Here’s what to remember:
✔️ 12 total CE hours are required each year for license renewal
✔️ 2 of those hours must be in documentation & record keeping
✔️ Chiropractic licenses expire on the last day of your birth month
