☀️How to stay sun-safe in the desert heat? Dr. Price, our Division Chief of Dermatology, shares her top tips for protecting your skin:
✅ For kids 6 months and older, choose mineral sunscreens with zinc or titanium to reduce irritation.
🎨 Colored zinc is a fun way to protect skin — and it helps remind you when it’s time to reapply!
⏰ Reapply sunscreen every 90 minutes, especially after swimming or sweating.
💄 Use SPF lip balm to protect lips from burning.
📍Don’t forget easy-to-miss spots like the tops of feet, ears, and scalp part lines.
❌Avoid peak sun hours between 10 AM and 3 PM when UV rays are strongest.
