Tis the season for chaos, overstimulation & the Elf 😵‍💫🤣

I know many hate the Elf. I actually do love it but curse it every night moving it. I think my days are numbered for the elf so trying to take it all in! I don’t do a thing fancy with it. I just move it and my kids have loved it.

Happy December 1st!! ☃️🎅🏼❄️

Thankful for these three and reminding myself to take it all in. The good, the hard, the fun— because this life is extra worth it with them in it 🥰 Happy Thanksgiving!

Parenting is hard! Partnership & parenting can be even harder. I am thankful everyday to get to experience and navigate this journey together!! We work hard at being the best parents we can be while staying connected to each other. Without sounding too corny, I feel so thankful to have you by my side: to laugh with, to cry with, & to have massive amounts of fun with. Feeling extra thankful this week for special relationships that help make lofe a little more fun 🥰

Holiday Tips 🌲

🌲 Mini bedtime routine: make sure to still do a mini bedtime routine even if kiddo is going down late. It will help to ease them into sleep
🌲 Nap: Add in a later afternoon nap if you know you will be staying out later than normal. This will help combat over tiredness.
🌲 Get back on normal schedule: when we push our kids one day, get back on normal routine the next. Maybe even an earlier bedtime the next night to help!

Most importantly, enjoy!! This is coming from a control freak with schedules but schedules are made in order to allow for flexibility when needed 💕

Baby Sleep: 4 month sleep regression 🫣😴

I have a love/hate for the word regression. Regression or disruptions to sleep can happen but they never have to be permanent! Remember, if you have a good sleep foundation built, 4 months might not be anything or just something small. If your baby doesn’t have any independent sleep skills but was sleeping well until now, this is a great time to sleep train!

Between 3-4 months you may see big changes in your baby especially around sleep. Don’t add in habits you need to break, instead go back to your foundation and stay the course, or you can always take a class or book a consult to start sleep training 😴
