GROW Associates, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We endeavor to design services that capture the needs of the individual by offering employment training, finding jobs of choice in the community and offering a way to give back to the community through volunteering and participating in community activities. Accessing the community and learning about opportunities hold an important part in the design and delivery of our services. Through participation, individuals build skills and gain knowledge which enables them to make informed decisions about the paths they wish to follow. We work in cooperation with families, guardians, friends, staff, Department of Development Services, and the Division of Medical Assistance to create an atmosphere of respect which supports the individuals in attaining their hopes and aspirations.

🌞 Big News for GROW Associates! 🌞

We’re proud to share that Grow Associates, Inc. has been awarded a $500,000 solar grant through the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s Low-Income Services Solar Program (LISSP).

This investment will fund the installation of a 161.8 kW rooftop solar system, reducing our electricity costs by up to 100% and generating significant annual savings. Most importantly, those savings will be reinvested directly into programs that support adults with developmental disabilities—strengthening services, expanding opportunities, and enhancing daily experiences.

💙 We’re Making Progress And We’re Grateful 💙

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve raised $11,205 toward our $25,000 goal for the Grow Associates, Inc. Annual Appeal, and we’re already seeing the impact of that support across our programs.

Because of the many programs offered, individuals are gaining real-world skills, building confidence, and stepping into meaningful roles in the community.

GROW Supported Employment program offers individuals the opportunity to find and maintain meaningful and competitive employment. Recently, seven of our participants completed training with the Salvation Army and worked throughout the holiday season as Kettle Bell Ringers, collecting donations at locations across the South Shore.

In addition, several participants proudly earned their Certificate of Completion for the Awareness & Action Training Course through the Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong Organization, an important milestone in self-advocacy, awareness, and personal empowerment.

These successes are just a snapshot of how contributions to our Annual Appeal support opportunities that help individuals grow, try new experiences, and continue building confidence every day.

As the Appeal continues through February, we invite those who are still considering a gift to help us close the gap and sustain these impactful programs.
