Meet the Team: Layne Huntsman 💙
*Pre-Need Specialist*

Layne is a Richfield native and RHS graduate who believes deeply in family, service, and planning with purpose. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, Layne spent time in Salt Lake City working in banking and continuing his education before realizing that home — and community — mattered most.

He and his wife (his high school sweetheart and the love of his life) returned to Richfield, raised their four children, welcomed nine grandchildren, and successfully ran local retail businesses for nearly 20 years. Later, Layne took on a new challenge as a professional presenter, traveling across the U.S. and internationally — an experience he loved, but one that eventually led him back to what matters most: serving people one-on-one.

Today, Layne enjoys meeting with families to talk through **pre-need arrangements**, helping decisions be made by choice — not necessity — and easing the burden on loved ones during difficult times.

Outside of work, Layne loves running, mountain biking, canyoneering, summer days, ice cream, and especially time with his grandkids. But above all, his greatest joy is his family. 🌿

We’re grateful to have Layne and the heart he brings to Magleby Mortuary.
