Thanks to all the mothers out there🥰 your work doesn’t go unnoticed

The mental load of being a mom is… a lot.
It’s not just what you do.
It’s everything you’re thinking about all day long.
And when you add in:
Low energy
Poor sleep
Mood changes
Feeling overwhelmed
…it hits even harder.
A lot of women think they just need to “handle it better.”
But sometimes . . . it’s not just stress.
Sometimes your body is asking for support.
👉 What’s something that lives in your head on repeat right now?

You might need va**nal estrogen… and not even realize it.
A lot of women are told these symptoms are just part of aging—or something you just “deal with.”
But they’re often signs of low estrogen at the tissue level 👇
Recurrent UTIs đźš«
Vaginal dryness or irritation
Pain with intimacy
Urinary urgency or leaking
That “something just feels off” feeling
And the truth is… this is incredibly common.
But common doesn’t mean normal—and it definitely doesn’t mean you have to live with it.
There are real, effective solutions that most women are never told about ✨
👉 Which of these have you experienced (even occasionally)? I want to know.

Wait… you might be using your va**nal estrogen wrong.
Most prescriptions come with an applicator …. and tell you to place it higher in the va**na.
But here’s what I recently learned from a pelvic floor physical therapist 👇
For many women, the symptoms we’re trying to fix
UTIs, irritation, dryness, discomfort with intimacy…
are coming from the va**nal opening and urethral tissue. This is because the majority of receptors in the v*gina are near the v*ginal opening and no higher inside.
So instead of only using the applicator,
applying a small amount with your finger directly to that inner tissue and around the urethra can make a huge difference.
Massage it into the va**nal opening, and a small amount around the urethra—that’s where a lot of the support is actually needed.
No one talks about this… but they should ✨
👉 Have you ever been told to apply it this way or is this the first time you’re hearing it? Comment below!

Vaginal estrogen is one of the most underused treatments in women’s health… and most women are never told how powerful it actually is.
It’s not just about dryness.
It helps:
Prevent recurrent UTIs
Support bladder control and reduce urgency
Improve pain with intimacy
Restore healthy va**nal tissue
Balance pH and support the microbiome
And here’s what most women don’t know…
This is low-dose, local estrogen, it stays in the tissue and doesn’t significantly raise systemic estrogen levels.
Meaning it’s a completely different conversation than traditional hormone therapy.
If you’ve been dealing with UTIs, discomfort, or bladder changes and feel like you’re just “managing it”… this could be the missing piece. ✨
👉 Which of these symptoms surprised you the most? Drop it in the comments, I want to know what you’ve actually been dealing with.

If you’re on a GLP-1 and not losing weight…
this is one of the first things I look at.
You’re not tracking your food.
And more importantly…
you’re not tracking your protein.
I know…
you’re not hungry
you’re eating less
you feel like you’re doing everything right
But here’s what I see all the time:
Most women are getting under 60g of protein a day…
when their body likely needs closer to 90–120g.
So what happens?
You lose muscle
your metabolism slows
and fat loss stalls
GLP-1s lower your appetite.
But they don’t change what your body needs.
And your body still needs:
adequate protein
enough calories to function
fuel to maintain muscle
Tracking isn’t about being obsessive.
It’s about awareness.
Because once you see it…
you can actually fix it.
Even a few days of tracking can completely change things.
This is usually where we find the problem.

If you’re on a GLP-1 and not losing weight…
there’s always a reason.
The most common ones I see:
• You’re not eating enough protein
• You’ve lost muscle (and your metabolism slowed)
• Your dose is off
• Your hormones aren’t optimized
• Your body is under stress (hello cortisol)
Weight loss isn’t just about eating less.
It’s about what your body is doing with what you eat.
This is why two people can be on the same medication…
and get completely different results.

GLP-1s aren’t ruining metabolisms.
But using them without a plan might be.
What I see all the time:
Women eating way too little
Losing muscle
Feeling exhausted
Hitting a plateau
And then thinking…
“this stopped working”
It didn’t.
Your body adapted.
GLP-1s can be an incredible tool for:
• Blood sugar stability
• Appetite regulation
• Reducing inflammation
But only if you support your body while using them.
This is why I focus on:
protein
strength training
metabolic support
hormones
Not just the injection.

POV: you’re told your labs are “normal”… but you feel anything but
This is exactly why.
Most providers check one thing: glucose
That’s it.
But blood sugar isn’t one number…
it’s a pattern.
So when a patient tells me:
“I’m exhausted”
“I can’t lose weight”
“I don’t feel like myself”
I’m not guessing.
I’m looking at:
• Fasting glucose
• Fasting insulin
• A1C
• C-peptide
• Triglycerides
Because this is how you catch insulin resistance early…
before it shows up as:
belly fat
hormone imbalance
inflammation
energy crashes
“Normal labs” don’t always mean optimal.
And that’s where most women get stuck.

Most women think blood sugar is only a problem if you’re diabetic.
It’s not.
If your blood sugar is constantly spiking and crashing…
your body feels it everywhere.
• Energy crashes mid-day
• Cravings you feel like you can’t control
• Belly fat that won’t budge
• Brain fog
• Mood swings
• Waking up at 2–3am
That’s not random. That’s unstable blood sugar.
Every spike = insulin surge
And insulin is a fat storage hormone.
Over time this can lead to:
• Insulin resistance
• Hormone imbalance
• Increased inflammation
• Higher cortisol
• Faster aging (yes, even your skin)
This is why some women feel like:
“I’m doing everything right… and nothing is working.”
Because if blood sugar isn’t stable, nothing else works well.
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s stability.
Start here:
Eat protein with every meal
Don’t drink coffee on an empty stomach
Balance carbs instead of cutting them
Walk after meals (even 10 minutes matters)
Small shifts → huge metabolic impact
If you feel like your body isn’t responding the way it used to…
this is one of the first places I look.
Save this so you can come back to it when your energy crashes this week… and send it to a friend who’s always tired by 3pm

Most people think high blood sugar only matters if you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes.
But even mild, repeated spikes can quietly affect your entire body.
Here’s what elevated blood sugar is doing behind the scenes:
• It increases inflammation
This drives joint pain, fatigue, and accelerates chronic disease
• It damages your blood vessels
The thicker blood from high blood sugar puts your at higher risk for heart disease, poor circulation, and long-term vascular issues
• It ages your skin faster
Sugar binds to collagen (glycation) → wrinkles, sagging, loss of elasticity
• It disrupts your hormones
Raises insulin and cortisol → worsens estrogen/progesterone imbalance
• It promotes fat storage
Especially in the abdomen (this is why belly weight is so stubborn)
• It impacts your brain
More brain fog, mood swings, and increased risk for cognitive decline over time
• It drains your energy
You feel the highs and crashes instead of steady energy
• It increases cravings
More sugar → more insulin → more hunger → repeat cycle
This is why so many women feel stuck.
They’re eating “healthy”…
but their blood sugar is still on a rollercoaster.
And the body will always prioritize survival over fat loss, hormone balance, or energy.
If this sounds familiar, it’s not a willpower problem.
It’s a metabolic signal.
And the good news is… it’s fixable.
