We would like to recognize a career milestone for one of our physical therapists, Dr. Jake Halgren, DPT, FAFS, Cert. DN. Jake is the director of Stride Physical Therapy Performance, our sports performance location and home to our Return to Perform program.
Last week, he spent four days in Adrian, Michigan, completing his year-long fellowship training with the Gray Institute, a world leader in functional biomechanics and its impact on rehab and performance. He completed the GIFT Program, a 40-week fellowship training, and earned the title of Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS).
After hundreds of hours of training and mentorship from some of the leading professionals in physical therapy, manual therapy, sports rehab, and performance training, he has earned this unique qualification to empower the people of southern Utah to take charge of their movement health and perform better in whatever sport they choose. As a Fellow of AFS, Jake speaks the language of movement—whatever age, level of competition, or type of activity is your thing.
If movement limitations are holding you back from feeling or performing at your best, give us a call and partner with Dr. Jake Halgren, or one of our other exceptional therapists to help you move, feel, and perform at your best.
