We are looking for a Part-Time - Certified Medical Assistant! Job duties include:

Job duties/Requirements:

-- Knowledge of EMR, medical terminology, prescriptions, and taking vitals
-- Basic understanding of the billing process, CPT and diagnosis codes
Assist in performing allergy and asthma testing
-- Administering allergy and biologic injections, verifying doses, and logging patient information
-- Perform CT-Scan of Sinus
-- Prepare rooms for patient examinations
-- Authorize prescription refills and obtain pre-auths from pharmacies/insurances
-- Provide lab work orders and results to the patient and/or lab
-- Registering and scheduling patients, collecting payments, answering phone calls and returning messages via call and text, check faxes
-- Occasional travel to remote office in Cedar City
