“Just Dance,” morning stretch, and our hydration station have quickly become the highlight of the day. The best part? Our CNAs have just as much fun as our residents!

We believe engagement isn’t just an activity — it’s connection. It’s laughter, movement, encouragement, and showing up for one another. Every single day, our staff pours their hearts into creating moments that feel less like a workplace and more like family.

We are so grateful for the incredible team and residents who make our community feel like home. 💛

❤️ Love is in the air today at The Abbington at St. George! ❤️

We had the sweetest time celebrating Valentine’s Day with our incredible residents and their loved ones. The day was filled with laughter, fun games, heartfelt moments, and so many smiles that truly lit up our community.

Our Valentine’s Mocktail Hour was a highlight — specialty drinks crafted with love and care by our amazing Activities Team. 🍓✨ It was such a joy to see residents and family members gathered together, toasting to friendship, connection, and the beautiful relationships that make our community feel like home.

We are so grateful to celebrate not just holidays, but the everyday love, kindness, and togetherness that make The Abbington so special. ❤️

Today in Memory Care we’re highlighting one of our residents’ favorite games — OuiSi (“we see”)! 👀✨

This visual connections game encourages creativity, conversation, and cognitive engagement in a fun and meaningful way. Activities like this help keep minds active, spark imagination, and build connection at every stage of life.

We believe learning, growing, and creating don’t stop with age — and we love walking alongside our residents as we continue exercising both cognition and creativity together. 💛

This week we celebrated National Thank a Mail Carrier Day at Abbington St. George 💙

Our residents had so much fun putting together thank-you cards and a treat basket for our mailman and all delivery carriers who stop by our community. It meant a lot to us to show a small token of appreciation for the people who faithfully serve us every day—rain or shine.

We are all about community, service, and giving back, and we truly appreciate and love our mail and delivery carriers. Thank you for all you do!

Love is in the air at Abbington St. George 💌✨

Today our Memory Care residents spent the day making Valentine’s for our amazing team members, families, and friends—and let’s just say… there was a lot of laughter, music, and sucker-eating involved 🍭😉

From cutting out cards and sharing treats to singing Lollipop and Mr. Sandman together, these moments are what make our days so special. Our Memory Care activities are thoughtfully designed to spark connection, friendship, and a sense of purpose through service—and you can truly feel the joy when everyone comes together like this.

We are always laughing, always engaging, and always celebrating the relationships that mean so much. Our residents have such big hearts and so much love for the people who care for them each day—and it shows. 💕

At Abbington, it’s more than activities… it’s community, friendship, and having a whole lot of fun together. Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

💞 You Are Not Alone — Join Our Dementia Family Support Night 💞

At Abbington Senior Living – St. George, we believe that caring for someone with dementia means caring for the whole family. That’s why we are proud to host our monthly Dementia Family Support & Education Nights, created with intention, compassion, and a deep commitment to our community.

We warmly invite family members, friends, caregivers, and anyone in the community who could benefit from education, encouragement, and connection to join us for an evening of support and understanding. Whether your loved one lives at Abbington or not, everyone is welcome.

At Abbington Senior Living, our residents are family — and that love extends far beyond our walls.

Last week, one of our incredible team members took on the Dragon’s Trail Challenge, an intense race up 333 stairs carved into the side of a mountain, right here in St. George. She didn’t do it just for the challenge — she did it in honor of our beloved memory care resident, Stan Davis, who recently passed away.

She was joined by her parents and by Stan’s family, making the climb a powerful moment of remembrance, love, and connection. It was a beautiful way to honor a life that meant so much to all of us and to show the deep bonds that are formed when we have the privilege of caring for someone during the final chapter of their life.

We are so proud of our team members who lead with their hearts, who show up not just as caregivers, but as extended family. Thank you for going the extra mile — quite literally — and for reminding us why Abbington is more than a place to live. It’s a place to be loved, remembered, and honored. 💙

Stan, you will always hold a special place in our hearts.

🐾💛 Pet therapy visits bring a special kind of joy—one that lights up hearts, sparks memories, and creates moments of pure connection. Our residents absolutely cherish this time, and it’s incredible to see how much comfort, love, and happiness these animals bring. We are so grateful to the volunteers who generously share their time and their pets to make moments like these possible. Caring for our residents’ happiness and well-being is at the heart of everything we do, and days like today remind us why this work means so much.

✨ A Night of Gratitude & Celebration at Abbington St. George ✨

Last week, we had the joy of hosting a Christmas party for our incredible team members—and what a wonderful night it was! At Abbington, our team is truly the heart of everything we do. Their kindness, dedication, and loving service to our residents each and every day do not go unnoticed.

This evening was our small way of giving back and saying thank you to the people who go above and beyond every time they walk through our doors. From delicious food and lots of laughter to fun games, prizes, and gifts, it was a special night spent celebrating the season together.

We simply could not do what we do without our amazing team. Their compassion, hard work, and genuine care make Abbington the warm and welcoming community it is.

To our extraordinary team members—please know how deeply appreciated and loved you are. We are so grateful for each of you.

✨ An Evening to Remember at Abbington St. George ✨
As part of our 2-Year Anniversary celebration, we were delighted to host a Family Evening Hot Cocoa Night, and our hearts are so full. We were truly touched by the incredible turnout from our residents, families, and dedicated team members who came together to celebrate this special milestone with us.

Our courtyard was transformed into a festive winter gathering place, beautifully decorated for Christmas and filled with the sounds of holiday music. Laughter and conversation flowed as everyone enjoyed the warmth of the fire, cozy cups of hot cocoa, and delicious s’mores under the glow of the season.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to join us and share such meaningful moments with our residents. Events like these remind us why community, connection, and togetherness are at the heart of everything we do.

It was a truly magical evening, and we look forward to making this a cherished tradition for many years to come. 🤍🎄☕🔥
