Southwest Behavioral Health Center would like to express our condolences to those affected by the recent tragic events in Enoch, Utah. In the wake of these events, Southwest Behavioral Health, along with our community partners, will be in Enoch today 1/6 and tomorrow 1/7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Our team of therapists and crisis workers will be located at the LDS chapel at 1390 East Mid Valley Road in Enoch to support anyone in need.

Progress! The new Crisis Stabilization Center for Washington County of Utah is on schedule. We are finishing up framing and are starting on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
This 13,000 sq. ft. facility will consist of 16 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, laundry, seating area, offices, intake area, and a 23-hour stay area. The 23-hour stay area will be for those who need short-term assistance, while the bedrooms are for longer-term care

First Resilience Symposium aimed at building support networks!

ST. GEORGE, Utah - (Dixie State University) - 4/22/2022– A concerted effort to build a network of support systems in building resilience in Washington County is being sponsored and supported by mental health and prevention professionals in the community.
Southwest Prevention, Reach 4 Hope su***de prevention, and DSU's Booth Wellness has come together to present it's first ever Resilience Symposium aimed toward parents, educators, healthcare providers, students and community members to join in a conversation about restoring resilience in those who may be struggling.
The event is April 26, from 6-9 pm. at the Eccles Auditorium and is free of charge to all. Here's more on what to expect.

Perhaps this is due to added stress brought on by pandemic isolation, remote learning or witnessing people becoming sick or even dying from COVID. Whatever the cause, Bang said she isn’t going to stand by and just watch it happen."
