The International Association of Forensic Nurses recently awarded a Southern Utah doctor for his work in helping survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and other forms of interpersonal trauma.

Please remember that wearing swimsuits, drinking alcohol or any other thing you do to celebrate this day does NOT mean someone can touch your body without consent. Consent can be given and rescinded at any time. We want everyone to celebrate however they choose and be safe!

Additionally, our team remains committed to helping ALL survivors of violence, despite where the crime may have been committed. This often results in unforeseen overhead, including ensuring patients have access to medications that will prevent sexually transmitted infections &/or HIV prevention. These medications are very expensive and we rely on the support of the community to get these medications to all patients. If you have the ability to support our cause, please consider making a tax-exempt donation to our organization! Even $5 can help us ensure all patients have equitable access to healthcare needs after an assault.
