Attention tall people who've ever been on crutches.

You know that moment when you adjust them to the absolute maximum setting... and you're still hunched over?

And your wrists are at a weird angle?

And after an hour your shoulders ache as much as your actual injury?

That's not a you problem. That's an equipment problem.

Standard crutches are designed for average height which means if you're 6'6" or taller, you've basically been using the wrong tool for the job.

The posture issues, the wrist pain, the exhaustion, all of it is predictable when the equipment doesn't actually fit.

We put together a full guide on what tall people should actually look for in crutches, including the height ranges, weight ratings, and features that make a real difference when you're above average height.

If you're tall, recovering from something, or know someone who is, this one's worth a read. Tag a tall friend who's been through crutch struggles.

Here's something most surgery centers don't connect the dots on:

The crutches they send patients home with are directly affecting their satisfaction scores, their callback volume, and their reputation.

Patients don't think "these crutches are poorly designed" when recovery is hard. They think "my experience at that facility was harder than it should have been."

And the standard crutch design most surgery centers dispense? It hasn't meaningfully changed since the 1950s despite well-documented problems with nerve compression, joint strain, and poor ergonomic fit.

We wrote a piece specifically for surgery center administrators and clinical teams on why this matters and how easy it actually is to fix.

If you work in a surgery center, or if you've ever struggled with crutches after a procedure and wondered why recovery felt harder than expected, this is worth a read. Feel free to share it with your care team.

Here's something orthopedic offices don't talk about enough:

The #1 complaint patients have during recovery isn't about pain from the surgery. It's about pain from their crutches.

Sore armpits. Aching wrists. Struggling to get around the house. It's incredibly common, and almost entirely avoidable.

The problem is that most crutches being dispensed today are based on a design that's over 70 years old. They haven't kept up with what we now know about ergonomics and joint health.

We wrote a guide specifically for orthopedic practices on what to look for in better crutch options, and how making a simple equipment switch can meaningfully improve patient satisfaction during recovery.

If you work in orthopedic care or physical therapy, this is worth a quick read. And if you're a patient who's ever struggled with standard crutches, feel free to share this with your doctor.

Did you know there are actually two very different types of crutches and most people end up with the wrong one?

Underarm crutches are what hospitals typically hand out. They work fine for a few weeks. But if you're dealing with a longer recovery or a chronic condition, they can cause serious discomfort and even nerve damage over time.

Forearm crutches distribute weight more naturally, allow for a better walking motion, and are far more comfortable for extended use.

We wrote a full guide breaking down the differences, pros and cons of each, and exactly who should be using which type.

If you or someone you love is on crutches right now, or might be soon after surgery, this is worth 3 minutes of your time.

Real feedback from a real customer!

"We had such a great experience with this company. I accidentally ordered two sets of crutches, and their team actually called me the next day to confirm the order and quickly issued a refund. That level of customer service is rare and so appreciated!

The crutches themselves have been perfect for my 16-year-old son. He’s 6 feet tall and needs to be non-weight-bearing for several weeks, and these are the first crutches we’ve found that are truly sturdy and fit his frame well. We had tried two other pairs from Amazon that just weren’t supportive enough.

It means a lot to find a company that not only makes a great product but also genuinely cares about their customers. We’re so thankful we found them!"

Have you ever heard of Caudal Regression Syndrome (CRS)? This is a picture of Ari and she shared her journey with us.

It’s a rare condition that affects the development of the lower spine, but it doesn't define the limit of what someone can achieve.

For many in the CRS community, forearm crutches aren't just "equipment" ,they are the key to independence.

Let’s shift the narrative: A mobility aid isn't a "restriction"—it’s a bridge to a more active life.
