Ever noticed a bright red spot on the white of your eye and wondered what it is? 👁️
Dr. Albernaz is teaching us about subconjunctival hemorrhages — when a tiny blood vessel breaks under the surface of the eye. It can look alarming, but most of the time it’s harmless and clears up on its own, much like a bruise.
Common causes can be something as simple as rubbing your eye, coughing, sneezing, or minor irritation.
If you ever have concerns about changes in your eyes or vision, we’re always here to help!
