STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Every week we are highlighting a different member of our staff! This week it is Amy! Amy Bascom, RN, BSW is our administrator for Southern Utah. She is a registered Nurse and holds a degree in social work. She comes from an emergency department and psychiatric nursing background. Amy recently moved from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Cedar City in August 2022. After a short stent in Cedar City's ER she moved to Horizon Home Health and Hospice as a nurse and then became the administrator for Southern Utah in April 2023. Amy is married to her best friend, Eric, has 3 children, one son-in-law, and a grandbaby girl on the way! She enjoys being with her family, hiking, watching SUU football and learning. What she loves about Horizon is the teamwork and collaboration between disciplines. It is great to see the patients' plans of care come to fruition and see the difference our work is making in the community. She loves leading the team with every single person's contribution making it all happen!
