It makes the most sense to apply acne treatments to your current breakouts, but you should be applying them to the acne-prone area. Preventing new blemishes is only possible if you are using the medication over the entire area. Using a thin layer of the medication over the entire area will reduce your current breakouts while preventing them from spreading to other areas.

There are many benefits of Vitamin E because it is an antioxidant and protects the cells from free radicals. Taking Vitamin E or eating vitamin-rich foods like dairy, leafy greens, or seeds will help improve your overall health. For your skin, Vitamin E is important to help reduce signs of aging. Helping to slow down aging keeps the skin more elastic and allows it to bounce back from any type of damage.

This structural protein helps with connective tissues and can be found in many skin and hair care products. Collagen is essential for skin regeneration and anti-aging techniques. It makes up 30% of your body’s protein, so it is important to ensure you have a proper amount to keep your entire body healthy. Eating chicken skin, fish skin, egg whites, or bone broth is a good way to help boost your collagen. Making tissues strong is important if you want to have glowing skin, thick hair, and strong nails.

Medical estheticians work in clinical environments like dermatology offices, plastic surgery centers, or specialized skincare clinics. These professionals often handle more advanced treatments than spa estheticians and work closely with doctors to address skin issues that require medical insight. However, it is important to note that not all states allow estheticians to perform these services, so it is best to check local cosmetology laws.

One benefit to washing your face in the shower is the steam from warm/hot water. This steam can open up your pores, making it easier to get a deep cleanse and remove built-up dirt and makeup. Opening your pores can be beneficial for those with acne-prone skin or frequently clogged pores. However, there are other ways to produce steam during your skincare routine, without the need to wash your face in the shower.
