Tuna salad is the star today! β΄οΈββ³οΈβ¨ You can use shredded chicken or turkey for this too! Obviously, it depends on where you are with your food introductions if you can eat some of these things I list. Everyone's diet is different and that's ok! π
I love putting lots of different edible things in my tuna salad. This one has wild caught tuna, celery, kimchi, red onion, capers, turmeric, seasoning salt, pepper, lemon juice, avocado, & avocado oil mayo.
The first day I ate it with cucumbers, plantain chips, tomato and bell pepper. You can cut the bell pepper wider so that it's more like a chip. I just automatically cut mine in strips because that's what I usually do. I didn't think about that till after. π€ The second day I made a tuna salad sandwich with the Simple Kneads bread. It was great! I also added some Firefly Kitchens fermented spicy carrots on the side with avocado and bell pepper. The spicy carrots are pretty spicy so if you don't like that you could try the Yin Yang ones. I just got my order delivered. I love Firefly Kitchens for fermented foods. I'll show you what I got in my next post.

I discovered this company when I lived in Bend, Oregon. They are from Seattle and are primarily in the PNW. That's why they aren't in the stores here yet.
They have a cookbook too, which I regrettably gave away. I wasn't using it but, of course, I want it now! Isn't that how it always happens? You throw something away that you never use and then you find a use for it later after it's gone. π
I hope you are having a great weekend!
