Where do you draw your power from?
In Tao, strength is not forced.
It is rooted.
The Earth is more than ground beneath your feet.
It is stability.
It is nourishment.
It is prosperity.
It is wealth.
It is belonging.
The power of Earth brings grounded confidence and inner security into our lives.
And your body already knows how to con to it.
In Taoist practice, we speak of Earth Gates
* power sockets through which the bod connects to the Earth's force:

When these points activate, energy begi move downward.
Sit tall.
Place your palms on your lap.
Feel your soles rooting into the ground.
Feel the perineum stabilizing your center.
You stop chasing power.
You start receiving support.
Grounding is not collapse.
It is strength
When energy moves downward, the body stabilizes.
When the body stabilizes, your presence becomes stronger.
When your presence becomes stronger, your energy field expands naturally.
But grounding is only the beginning
From a stable root, Taoist training progresses into:
• strengthening your energy body
• building internal power
• cultivating protection
• developing higher internal abilities
