Let nature remind you to breathe, not just with your lungs, but with your whole being. Let the wind teach you how to let go, the trees how to stand still, and the rivers how to keep moving forward. In the rustle of leaves, in the hush of the dawn, in the quiet patience of the earth, there is a steady rhythm calling you back to yourself. Inhale the calm, exhale the chaos. Let each breath be a conversation with the sky, the soil, and the soul. Let the world outside soften the storm within.

A Place to Rest

Rest comes in many forms—mental, physical, emotional. Sometimes, the most nourishing thing we can do is put everything down: the ideas, the worries, the busyness, and simply rest.

In yoga, Savasana is the ultimate invitation to rest deeply. For me, it feels like lying under a canopy of trees—calm, safe, and completely at peace. This pose reminds me that rest isn’t just a pause; it’s where I find renewal and strength to keep growing.

Simple Peace

Not too many people know that I started a Yoga Teacher Certification course several months ago. Truth be told – I’m not all that great at poses, memorizing names of things, or even very flexible. So why did I begin a Yoga Teacher Cert? It is for what yoga means – the simple peace it offers, the connection to parts of myself that I hadn’t really been willing or able to acknowledge yet.

The next 30 days, I’ll share part of my journey with you, weaving nature-inspired yoga, personal reflections, and Bodhi Yoga principles like the Breathe Bone Gesture. Together, we’ll explore how yoga roots us in peace, encourages growth, and connects us to the beauty of life.

I hope you’ll follow along and maybe even find your own moments of Simple Peace.
