Many of you have heard me preach the importance of food to help support health care goals. Goji berries has a long history in Chinese medicine for its medicinal purposes and is one of my go-to foods.
This berry is packed full of nutrients such as: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, zinc, fiber, protein, and antioxidants. Chinese Medicine believes goji berries help improve: sleep, energy, menstrual cycles, fertility, eye sight, memory, immune function, inflammation, and longevity.
Try eating handful of these berries raw or add to: smoothies, yogurt, trail mix, oatmeal, or even steep as a tea. Enjoy!
