March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month!
colorectal cancer screening remains one of the most preventable types of cancer when caught early through regular screening.
Current guidelines recommend that average-risk adults begin screening at age 45 and continue through age 75.

Hope everyone stayed warm and safe during this past storm! 🌨️

Here are some tips on staying safe while shoveling your way out of over 30in of snow! ❄️

❄️ Push, don't lift: Whenever possible, plow the snow to the side instead of picking it up.

🪏Small scoops only: That end-of-storm slush is heavy. Take smaller loads to save your back and heart.

☃️ Listen to your body: If you feel chest pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness, stop immediately.

🛑 Most importantly: Listen to your body. If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or pain radiating to your arms or jaw, stop immediately and call 911 or head to the ER. Your driveway can wait—your heart cannot. ☕️🧤

Flu cases are surging statewide. With hospital capacity exceeding 90% in some regions, it is more important than ever to manage your health early and at home when possible.

✅ Quick Advice:
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water.
- Stay home if you feel under the weather to protect your neighbors.
- Antivirals work best early. If you have a high fever, chills, or body aches, prescription treatments like Tamiflu are most effective within the first 48 hours.
- It’s not too late for a flu shot; it remains the best way to prevent severe illness.
