During the Christmas season, neighbors stopped by to share warmth, conversation, and a little extra holiday cheer. The time together created meaningful moments filled with smiles, laughter, and genuine connection.

We love that our clients get to be an active and connected part of their community — welcoming familiar faces, sharing conversation, and celebrating the joy that comes from togetherness. We are grateful for neighbors who take the time to connect and help make the holidays feel brighter, more joyful, and deeply connected.

A few weeks ago, something happened that stopped our team in their tracks.

Dave stood up.

For most of us, standing is automatic.
For Dave, it meant connection.
It meant confidence.
It meant being seen eye to eye, not looked down at from above.

Dave uses an adaptive iPad to share his thoughts with the world. He tells jokes. He asks questions. He shares opinions. And when he stood up, he used it to tell us exactly what that moment meant to him.

Moments like this don't happen by accident. They happen when people believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in living with independence and purpose.

🎉 What’s in the Box… REVEALED! 🎉

✨ Drumroll, please… ✨
An Amazon Echo Show — and we are beyond excited to congratulate Sarah Zull, who guessed correctly and won the drawing! 👏💙

To everyone who guessed, commented, shared, tagged friends, and followed along all week — THANK YOU. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support made this so much fun, and we are incredibly grateful for this amazing community.

Sarah will be receiving an 8-inch Echo Show, and an 11-inch Echo Show will be given to one of our Emmaus homes. These devices are especially meaningful in our homes because they support accessibility, independence, and connection — helping individuals stay connected with loved ones, follow daily routines, use voice commands for hands-free support, and engage more fully in everyday life.

We loved every guess and every interaction — and we can’t wait to do this again. 💙

📦 What’s in the Box? – Clue #3

Clue for December 10:

“It connects you to answers without ever leaving its place.”

Think you know what’s in the box? Comment ONE guess below! A correct guess puts you in the drawing, and new followers get an automatic extra entry. Since it’s one single item, trying a different guess each day might help you land the right one. Be sure to comment your guess on this post, because guesses sent by message aren't counted.

Want to boost your chances? If your guess ends up being correct, every tag, extra comment, and share earns you additional entries in the 'What's in the Box' drawing. If you share the post, like it with the WOW 😮 emoji. You can engage as much as you want throughout the week — the more you join in, the more entries you'll have when we tally everything up.

We will not reveal any correct guesses until the final announcement. Invite your friends and family to follow our page too — new followers receive an automatic entry to win WHAT'S IN THE BOX.

You may make one guess per day, and all guesses must be submitted by 11:59 AM on December 12. The winner and reveal will go out on December 12 at 1 PM. Prize delivery is limited to U.S. residents, and a matching prize will be donated to one of our Emmaus homes.

Drop your guess below and have fun playing! 🎁😮
