How gentle is pediatric chiropractic? Gentle enough for baby to fall asleep mid-adjustment 😴 This amazing little one is now able to turn his head to both sides, can sleep with his head on the right or left, and his body is relaxing and opening up… the baby giggles and deep sleepy breaths during the beginning and end of his session were icing on the cake. can be life-changing for babies, and their families as baby is able to rest into more EASE and grace in their bodies & nervous systems. 💚

Anna’s mom brought her in for her first visit at Gateways because she was a “picky eater,” hadn’t been eating much at all, and was becoming irritable and not herself because of it. The foods that she wanted or didn’t want were inconsistent, and it was affecting the whole family. After just O N E , she was back to eating regularly with the family, and even asking for food! 🎉 The way that chiropractic affects the nervous system and therefore ALL organs and systems of the body is simply AMAZING, and we are so thankful chiropractic gives us a way to safely & gently support the whole child! 💚🙌🏼 Since her first visit, her family members have also come in, realizing we can help with back pain, but it’s about so, so much more: our experience + expression of LIFE. 💫 Families regulate and ebb & flow together, and when everyone is adjusted, the whole family rises together!

Did you know that EMOTIONS are often stored in the BODY? I am continually surprised at what comes up during Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) sessions and how current triggers link back to seemingly unrelated childhood experiences. 🩵 NET allows us to have a conversation with the physiology/BODY of emotions that often connect to things that our MINDS haven’t been able to work out (bc if we could, we would!)… and then we get to release the triggers & clear them from the body for good 🙌🏼. Today I found the childhood root of a fear to feel good, and feeling threatened by overwhelm & not getting what I want (which is a pretty charged emotion as a child 😉). Feeling that threatened feeling of “too much” leave my body was so powerful, and I’ve been doing this technique for 7 years. I’m so grateful for Dr. Sammy and how we get to support each other. If you haven’t tried NET yet, we’re opening up a few spots at the end of the month ☺️

Chiropractic is about LIFE and the nervous system (how we experience + express Life). And EVERY baby should be checked & adjusted by a pediatric-trained chiropractor. Pediatric chiropractic is gentle, safe, and so supportive of healthy function and balance within the structural system & the body’s tissues. 🙌🏼 And after a process as physically intense as birth, hands-on care is essential for both mom and baby!
