Our Spring Fling was a BLAST! Scott & Liz performed and we had lots of great treats and drinks...along with dancing and awesome camaraderie! This doubled as a Resident Spring Clean, too, and residents were able to get rid of things they no longer wanted in their homes...chairs, electronics, and more. It really was a great day!

It’s in the Bag! Residents painted canvas tote bags at this week's Painting with Cindi class! Posca pens and paint markers were used to create artwork on these great bags that can be used for multiple purposes, or be gifted to a friend or family member. Great idea, Cindi! And, awesome job everyone!

Fairwinds River's Edge once again hosted the Pinochle Competition for the Golden Games this year. Undergoing renovations...

Fairwinds River's Edge once again hosted the Pinochle Competition for the Golden Games this year. Undergoing renovations in the common areas of our building, we played in one of our apartments, and it worked out perfectly!

We had loads of fun! Great food! Excellent camaraderie! And, six folks took home the medals! Congratulations! One Fairwinds resident who had been on the board of the Golden Games also stopped by to say hello!

If you haven't played double-deck pinochle, you should give it a try! It's really a lot of fun! Golden Games players, we'll see you next year!
