I've been covering my head for the last few years now, but I wasn't being consistent. However, for the past year, I have been very intentional about wearing the veil. This is a rite of passage into my new spiritual maturity. Covering during this high spiritual warfare I've been fighting is also a sign of leadership.
I’ve gone from caps, to hats, to beanies, to wraps—now I’ve finally made it to the hood 💪🏿.
I’ve vowed to minister and teach openly under the hood for the next year 🙏🏿.
I Was Recently Asked Dr. Yahki, Who Are You?
My Answer Was “I AM BECOMING ♥️”
The spiritual significance of wearing a hood can vary across different cultures, traditions, and contexts. Here are some common interpretations:
Mystery and Secrecy:
Hoods often symbolize concealment or mystery, representing the idea of keeping one's thoughts, intentions, or true self hidden. In spiritual contexts, this can relate to the process of inner reflection or maintaining privacy in one's spiritual journey.
Humility and Reverence:
In many religious traditions, wearing a hood or covering the head signifies humility and respect. For example, monks and priests wear hoods or hoods-like garments during worship as a sign of devotion and modesty.
Protection and Withdrawal:
A hood can serve as a form of protection against external energies or influences, symbolizing a retreat into oneself for meditation, prayer, or introspection.
Symbol of Transformation:
In some cultural rituals, donning a hood symbolizes a transition or rite of passage, emphasizing a shift from one state of being to another.
Representation of Authority or Role:
Certain spiritual or mystical roles might use hoods as part of attire to denote status, authority, or membership within a spiritual order.
Be exactly who you say you are! ♥️
